4x4 Rental Rates Namibia
Daily rates in Namibian dollars, VAT included, unlimited kilometres. The season is set by your pickup date. Minimum rental 7 days.
The Toyota Hilux Raider 2.4, Hilux SRX 2.8 and Fortuner share one rate card. The Hilux is available without camping or camping-equipped for 1–2 or 3–4 people; the Fortuner is lodge travel only (no camping).

High season. Dry, clear days and cold desert nights, with game concentrating at the waterholes. One rate from March to November, with no July or August surcharge.

Cover and extras
- Standard cover — included, excess N$25,000. Included in every rate
- Reduced excess — N$195 per day, excess N$7,500. Lower excess, smaller hold on your card
- Zero excess — N$475 per day, excess N$0. Zero excess, zero deposit on covered claims. VAT included
- Tyre and windscreen cover — N$145 per day, excess N$25,000. Covers tyres and windscreen. VAT included
- Cross-border permit, per country (Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe) — N$1,300
- One-way Windhoek to or from Swakopmund — N$2,900
- After-hours handover, before 07:00 or after 18:00 — N$450
